Cookie Policy

§1. General provisions
1. This Cookies Policy sets out the rules for storing and accessing information on the user’s devices by means of cookies and similar technologies, in connection with the use of the online store available at https://maisonachi.com (the “Store”).
2. The owner of the Store and the entity placing cookies is: UNITY PRIME GROUP sp. z o.o. (a Polish limited liability company), with its registered office in Warsaw (postal code 04-109), at ul. Korytnicka 46/52, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register kept by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw, 14th Commercial Division, under number (KRS) 0001225215, NIP 1133194860, REGON 544044387, share capital of PLN 5,000, e-mail: support@maisonachi.com (the “Controller”).
The legal basis for the use of cookies is Article 399 of the Act of 12 July 2024 – Electronic Communications Law and, with respect to personal data, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (the “GDPR”).
§2. What cookies are
1. Cookies are small text files saved on the user’s device (computer, phone, tablet) while using the Store.
2. Cookies usually contain the name of the website, their storage time and a unique number.
3. First-party cookies are placed by the Controller. Third-party cookies are placed by the Controller’s partners (e.g. providers of analytical and advertising tools).
4. By storage time, a distinction is made between session cookies (deleted upon logging out, leaving the site or closing the browser) and persistent cookies (stored for a specified time or until deleted by the user).
§3. Types of cookies used
Necessary (required) cookies. Their purpose is to ensure the correct operation of the Store, including handling the cart, login, the order process and security. They are used without the need to obtain consent, as they are necessary to provide the service requested by the user. Examples: session identifier, cart contents, cookie consent preferences (the cookie banner).
Functional (optional) cookies. Their purpose is to remember the user’s settings and preferences (such as language, currency, region) and to deliver personalized content within the Store. The basis for their use is the user’s consent.
Analytical / statistical (optional) cookies. Their purpose is to analyse how the Store is used, create statistics and improve the Store’s operation. The basis for their use is the user’s consent. Cookie providers the Controller cooperates with: Google Analytics.
Marketing / advertising (optional) cookies. Their purpose is to present tailored advertising, remarketing and measuring campaign effectiveness. The basis for their use is the user’s consent. Cookie providers the Controller cooperates with: Meta Pixel, Google Ads.
§4. Consent to cookies
1. On the first visit to the Store, the user is shown a cookie banner (a consent management mechanism) allowing them to: a) accept all cookies; b) reject all cookies other than necessary ones; c) make an individual selection of the particular categories.
2. Cookies other than necessary ones are activated only after the user gives consent.
3. The “Accept” and “Reject” buttons are equally accessible, so refusing consent is as easy as giving it.
4. The user may change or withdraw consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link/button available in the Store footer. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before its withdrawal.
§5. Managing cookies in the browser
1. The user may manage cookies independently through their web browser settings, including blocking or deleting them.

§6. Cookies and personal data
1. Information collected via cookies may constitute personal data and, in such a case, is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the Store website.
2. The user has all the rights described in the Privacy Policy, including the right of access to data, its erasure and lodging a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office.
§7. Changes to the Cookies Policy
1. The Controller reserves the right to amend this Cookies Policy in the event of changes in the law, technology or the scope of tools used in the Store.
2. The current version of the Policy is published on the Store website together with its effective date.
